Terms & Conditions

These terms explain how booking, payment, flights and safety work for the Niagara Falls helicopter tour. Please read them before you reserve your seats.

Welcome to Niagara Falls Helicopter Tours. By booking or taking part in our 12-minute scenic helicopter flight over Niagara Falls, Ontario, you agree to the terms below. They set out our responsibilities to you and yours to us, so everyone has a safe, smooth and memorable flight. Please read them carefully; if anything is unclear, contact us before you book and we will happily explain.

Booking and payment

A booking is confirmed once you have completed the reservation and received a confirmation from us. You can reserve your seats online in a couple of minutes. Payment is taken securely, and we do not store your full card details on our own systems. You are responsible for making sure the passenger names, contact details, ages and flight date on your booking are correct. If you spot a mistake, let us know as soon as possible so we can fix it before your flight.

Each seat is sold per passenger. Children aged 2 to 11 travel on a child seat, and infants under 2 fly free on an adult's lap. Private charters book the whole cabin for your group. If you need a private flight, request a quote and we will arrange the details with you directly.

Pricing

All prices are shown per person in US dollars. Adult seats (ages 12 and over) are $209, child seats (ages 2 to 11) are $127, and infants under 2 fly free on a lap. Private charter pricing is provided on request. Prices include the flight, live commentary, local taxes and fees, and free onsite parking. Photos are not included. We may update our prices from time to time, but the price you were quoted at the moment your booking was confirmed is the price that applies to that booking.

Flight times and weather

Helicopter flights depend on the weather. We fly year-round, roughly 365 days a year, but only when conditions are safe. Wind, low cloud, storms, fog or poor visibility can delay or ground a flight at short notice, and the pilot's decision on whether it is safe to fly is final. Flight times shown at booking are indicative; the actual departure may shift slightly on the day as we group passengers and manage the schedule. If your flight is grounded by weather, you may reschedule at no cost or take a full refund. Please see our Cancellation & Weather Policy for full details.

Arrival and check-in

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled flight time so there is time to check in, complete the safety briefing and board. Flights depart from the Victoria Avenue Heliport in Niagara Falls, a short five-minute drive from downtown, with free onsite parking. Bring a passport or photo ID for each adult passenger. If you arrive late and miss your allocated flight, we will do our best to fit you onto a later one the same day, but we cannot guarantee it, and a missed flight due to late arrival is treated as a no-show.

Conduct and safety

Your safety and the safety of everyone on board is our first priority. You must follow all instructions given by the pilot and ground crew at all times, both on the ground and in the air. For everyone's protection, the following rules apply:

  • Alcohol and recreational drugs are not permitted, and passengers who appear to be under the influence may be refused boarding without a refund.
  • Drones may not be operated anywhere on or near the heliport.
  • Large bags and luggage are not allowed in the cabin; keep personal items to a minimum.
  • Remain seated with your seatbelt fastened for the whole flight, and keep hands, cameras and phones inside the cabin.
  • Passengers who behave in a way that risks the safety of the flight may be removed and refused travel.

Weight and seating

A helicopter must be loaded within strict weight and balance limits, so we assign seats to keep the aircraft properly balanced. Seating is arranged by the crew on the day, and while every passenger is guaranteed a panoramic view, we cannot promise a specific side or position. For safety, we may ask for passenger weights at or before check-in. Very large groups may be split across more than one flight. Please share any accessibility needs when you book so we can plan for them.

Liability

Scenic helicopter flights are operated by fully licensed and insured aviation professionals to strict aviation safety standards. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for your booking. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, for events outside our reasonable control such as weather, air traffic restrictions or mechanical grounding, or for personal belongings brought on board. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. You take part in the flight understanding that it is an aerial activity and that you must follow all safety instructions given to you.

Changes to the service

Occasionally we may need to change a flight time, combine flights, or alter the route slightly for operational, safety or weather reasons. Where a change materially affects your booking, we will contact you and offer a reschedule or refund. We may also update these terms from time to time; the version published on this page at the time of your booking is the one that applies to it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of Ontario.
